Over the past few day's and week, myself and Adam have been discussing the future of Be the Manager as a forum, last season we unfortunalty saw very low activity which of course was of huge dissapointment to those who have worked so hard to make Be the Manager a success, we saw low transfer market activites all round, and also low posting from the majority of members with a few minority working …

To start the new season off I would like to know which teams I am using for the season so if you just say if you want to stay on at your current club then post here saying you want to stay and if not then say so

Changes to Be the Manager in FULL


- New skin (Background) The most obvious of the new changes and something which may take some time to get used to. The light blue adds a bit more light and colour to the site while the layout changes with the main body of the post being to the left hand side while the member is on the right hand side. Tuesday 12th - FA Cup Quarter Finals
Saturday 16th - Round 16
Tuesday 19th - FA Cup Semi Finals
Saturday 23rd - Round 17
Tuesday 26th - Round 18
Saturday 30th - FA Cup Final + Championship Play-off Final

At the end of the month everything will have been decided!

The Cup Games

Just to tell you that the cup games scheduled for tuesday night will be done wednesday night as I am going to Ipswich v Milwall on tuesday away and wont be back until about 1 and will be going straight to sleep with college in the morning so games will be done wednesday

    I have been looking at a couple of rosters and i feel that alot of players secondaries arent high enough.
    This plays a big part in team selection and should be definately looked at and maybe improved!.

    im glad its not just me that was thinking this as i was looking at some of my players too and think they are under rated on seconds thought i wasnt sure as to if i should pm anybody about it

    I have to agree with the majority but their is a fine line for it to be right.
    I've seen some attacking players with Secondaries of 4 or 5.. when really they should be 7,8 or even 9.
    The easy example would me M_Petrov... when i saw him on my roster I thought he should have an SH stat of at least 7.

    yes it is but i didnt wanna say anything just incase it ruined the site most of my team should have 7 or above but they have 4s and 5s

    Maybe it would be best adam if each manager made a list of players from there team who thye think should have higher seconds and you could use that to change ones you agree with

    also not only would it make your life a lot easier but it would make the job a hell of a lot quicker, and if you wanted any help i would be willing to help you out with the seconds re rating Smile
